The Air Jordan 1 High OG Chicago Reimagined will get the retro treatment that we have all been waiting for as part of Jordan Brand’s continuing Re-Imagined campaign, joining the likes of the Air Jordan 1 High OG ’85 “Georgetown” and the Air Jordan 1 High OG ’85 “Neutral Grey” to name a few.
According to sources, the pair is likely to come with everything from its original ’85 design and height to the pioneering toebox that paved the way for a slew of subsequent styles to be inspired by. It is expected that the pair will appear in the trademark “Chicago” color combination of white, Varsity Red, and black. There will be a comparable construction to that of the Air Jordan 1 High OG and the Air Jordan 1 High 85 for this Air Jordan 1.
It will also be furnished with a redesigned toe box that will be made to resemble the original pair. White leather forms the foundation of the shoe, with red overlays and black trim on the wings, Swooshes, and collar adding contrast. Aside from that, the shoe will have Nike Air branding on the heel, a white midsole, and a red rubber outsole. The Air Jordan 1 High OG ’85 “Chicago” is set to arrive Holiday 2022 season, and will most likely release in December alongside the Air Jordan 11 “Cherry,” which is anticipated to arrive in mid-top form for the customary Holiday release.
