As Jordan Brand continually experiments with new styles and materials, the Air Jordan 1 has seen several iterations. The most current generation of their product line, an Air Jordan 1 Mid “Velvet Toe” a kid-specific edition, has been given a sophisticated makeover.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid has a sleek appearance thanks to its Sail/Summit White leather upper, White mesh tongues, and White midsole. Metallic Gold Wings insignia and tongue labels contribute to the shoe’s refined appearance. The toe box, lining, laces, and Swoosh emblems on the sides are all constructed from a grey velvet fabric, which is the most distinguishing aspect of these shoes. The insoles and the rubber soles are a uniform grey, making for a stylish and practical shoe for kids.
Expect the Air Jordan 1 Mid GS Velvet Toe to drop at select Swoosh shops and Nike.com in the coming weeks, as shown in the images below. Retail is yet to be known.
