The Jordan 14 was the first signature shoe to come out after Mike had taken a second and final retirement from the NBA. The shoe was initially released from 1998 to 1999 with a healthy dosage of colorways rotating around the market then. There are a total of eight colors available, three of which are low tops. When considering a specific Air Jordan model, the 14 is on the top of the list since there wasn’t a single hue that was unappealing, which further helped elevate the silhouette up in the ranks.
Fast forward to 2005, Jordan Brand celebrated the silhouette’s seventh anniversary with the release of an onslaught of colorways; one colorway that stuck out of the bunch is the Air Jordan 14 WMNS Real Pink, the first women’s-specific Air Jordan 14 Retro shoe to be released. So naturally, the colorway garnered a ton of attention, featuring an upper dominated in black with small pink accent pops throughout to help bring the shoe to life. Almost 20 years later, the ladies are asking for a retro treatment.
