In 2024, the Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” will be re-released for the first time since its initial release. In 2002, Michael Jordan donned the sneakers in his last NBA All-Star game while playing for the Washington Wizards.
The shoe is embellished in white, a lightning bolt, black, and a chrome color scheme. In addition to its white leather upper, the Air Jordan 17 Low has a black Dynamic Fit inner sleeve that helps to improve the shoe’s fit by cradling the foot. Lightning also has a characteristic chrome stripe that wraps around the heel, and he has contrasting highlights. As a bonus, it has a TPU heel stabilizer, a full-length shank plate, and an integrated lace-up closing mechanism to keep your foot securely in place. A lightweight phylon midsole with herringbone traction completes the design.
Expect the Air Jordan 17 Low Lightning to drop at select Jordan Brand shops and Nike.com on May 30th, as shown in the images below. Retail is set for $300.
