The Air Jordan 17 debuted in February 2002 during Mike’s stint with Washington Wizards. The shoe, which Wilson Smith III created, drew inspiration from jazz music and incorporated the brand’s inaugural Tuned Air cushioning system. In addition, a low-top version debuted in three distinct colorways, as shown in the images below.
According to zsneakerheadz, the Air Jordan 17 will return in Spring 2024. The silhouette was last seen in February 2018 as part of the SoleFly and Jordan Brand collaboration featuring theĀ Air Jordan 17 Low. One or more of the original hues will likely be returned, along with numerous additional color possibilities.
