Sneaker enthusiasts got their first look at the Air Jordan 2/3 back in April. This shoe is a hybrid of the iconic upper design of the Air Jordan 2 with the revered sole of the Air Jordan 3. Combining aspects of Michael Jordan’s signature shoes and jersey number, this hybrid design is a fitting homage to the legend.
The shoe’s color scheme, which combines White, Varsity Red, Sail, and Cement Grey, is reminiscent of the classic silhouette. The top is a seamless combination of reptile and smooth leather with carefully placed complex perforations for ventilation. The TPU heel counter, overlays, Air Jordan tongue emblem, inner lining, insoles, and midsole all have Varsity Red accents. The Air Jordan 3’s midsole displays the shoe’s distinctive design by including a large, visible Air unit at the back of the heel. Cement Grey rubber provides the outsole stability for this midsole.
Expect the Air Jordan 2/3 Varsity Red to drop at select Jordan Brand shops and Nike.com in Summer 2024, as shown in the images below. Retail is set for $160.
