Distressed and severely faded denim sneakers are likely to be big this summer for Nike, whose plans are to offer a slew of them. We first caught a glimpse of the “Washed Denim” trend handling the Nike Blazer and the Air Jordan 1 High OG. Now, Jordan Brand is blessing the kids with their own exclusives featuring a “Washed Denim” version of the Air Jordan 6.
A white toe and subtle blue overlays go well with the same substance on the sole. A white denim underlayer serves as an additional layer of protection. Both the mesh laces and the mesh shroud overlays and mesh collars and tongues feature dark navy branding on their heels, which is carried over to the heel shroud overlays. This design is completed with a white and blue color scheme with a barely-volt accent on the outsole Jumpman and heel clip. Look for the Air Jordan 6 GS “Washed Denim” to hit select retailers next month.
