ANOTHER YEAR, ANOTHER AIR JORDAN 11 RELEASE
It is being reported that over 2.1 million pairs of upcoming Air Jordan 11 Bred will be releasing this December, the largest to date. The shoe made its first appearance during the 1996 Playoffs matchup against the Miami Heat, where MJ dropped 35/4/2, leading the Chicago Bulls to a victory, marking his fourth NBA Championship and NBA Finals MVP. The rest is history. Fast forward 23 years later from then, Jordan brand is blessing the sneaker market with the Air Jordan 11 Bred again, this time in OG style. By now, if you’ve been collecting for quite a while you should know Jordan brand has made it a tradition to release a pair of the Air Jordan 11’s every year, that dates back to 2009, which saw the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam return. Thus far, we’ve gotten the Cool Grey’s, Concord’s, Gamma Blues, Legend Blue (the name given in place of “Columbia”) and a few other new colorways in between. For 2019, Jordan Brand is pulling out all the treats to celebrate the 23rd Anniversary of the highly-anticipated silhouette, the Air Jordan 11 “Bred”. Last seen, in 2012, with low cut patent leather. This year, expect to see the new and what’s now the norm on most AJ 11 releases, high cut patent leather, something we’ve been getting for a couple of years now, since the Space Jam in 2016. Paired with the classic will be OG box and packaging to give it the ’96 feel along with traditional “23” stamped on the heel. With all that being said, we think these will be an easy cop for the majority.
