The Jordan Spizike Low, set to be released in 2024, will arrive in an array of colorways; one colorway expected to be released has significant historical significance within the brand’s legacy. The Jordan Spizike Low “Bred” will arrive in the classic black and red color scheme.
Like its namesake, the Jordan Spizike Low Bred is unabashed in its use of the classic black and red color scheme. The upper of this shoe is constructed entirely of black leather, adding to its minimal appearance and versatile character. The black midsole and hardware draw attention to the shoe’s monochromatic upper, creating a brutalist look.
Dramatic decorations on the eyestays, rear pulls, lace locks, and rubber outsoles draw attention to the sneaker’s primarily black color and increase the design’s depth and dimension. The red hue may be seen just below the mesh at the midfoot, confirming the ascribed name. The elephant print overlays at the shoe’s heel and toe depart from the typical style. These overlays, composed of grey indentations etched into black ground, serve as a fitting and aesthetically beautiful denouement to the design steeped in historical importance.
Expect the Jordan Spizike Low Bred to drop at select Jordan Brand shops and Nike.com in Spring 2024, as shown in the images below. Retail is set for $160.
