Michael Jordan’s Nike Air Ship OG Banned receiving the retro treatment 36 years after the NBA banned it for violating the league’s strict uniform policy then. However, that didn’t stop Nike nor Mike from lacing up the Air Ship during the 1984-85 NBA season that led to a $5,000 fine every game; he wore the sneaker. Now, the famous “Banned” color-blocking making its way back to retail in true-to-form style.
The shoe will ship constructed in a premium black leather base, with accents of reds handling the eyelets, overlays, heels, lace, and swoosh logo branding. A white midsole with tonal Nike Swoosh branding cools things down at the bottom to complete the look.
