However, that didn’t stop Nike nor Mike from lacing up the Air Ship during the 1984-85 NBA season that led to a $5,000 fine every game; he wore the sneaker. Now, the famous “Banned” color-blocking making its way back to retail in true-to-form style.
The shoe will ship constructed in a premium black leather base, with accents of reds handling the eyelets, overlays, heels, lace, and swoosh logo branding. A white midsole with tonal Nike Swoosh branding cools things down at the bottom to complete the look.
