This iteration of the CLOT x Nike Dunk Low What The features a striking patchwork upper that borrows heavily from a number of the brands’ previous successful collaborations, including the Air Force 1 “1World,” Air Jordan 13 “Low,” Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death,” Nike Dunk High “Flux,” and Nike Dunk Low “Silk Royale.” The “What The” Dunk Low stands out thanks to its co-branded heels, contrasting Swooshes and tongue labels, and translucent toe box. It also has the characteristic patterned silk fabric of a renowned streetwear label. The shoe has an extra set of laces and is carefully packed in a hand-made box.
The shoe’s upper is constructed from smooth leather in timeless colors, including black, cement grey, fire red, and sail. Reptile leather overlays add a touch of sophistication thanks to its placement on the sides. Cement Grey leather is used for the shoe tongues, lining, trimming, and heel counter. The tongue, heel logo, and outsole are all done in a fiery red that pops against the “Black Cement” upper. The shoe’s Grey rubber outsole complements the Sail midsole, creating the perfect balance between style and comfort.
