The renowned Air DT Max ’96 will triumphantly return to Nike’s summer 2024 lineup in the original “White/Black/Varsity Maize” colorway, according to Sole Retriever.
It wasn’t until this year that Sanders and Nike reunited after they split up in the early 2000s. Since the Baltimore-based sportswear brand sponsored Sanders when he was a student at Jackson State, he wore Under Armour clothes before he enrolled at the University of Colorado, Boulder. It wasn’t until recently that Sanders was seen sporting a customized Air DT Max ’96, popularly known as the Diamond Turf 3, after publicly announcing the reunion of the two 1990s powerhouses. This shoe features the same comfortable ZoomX cushioning as the Invincible Run 2 with a distinctive top, unlike the aggressive sole units.
Expect the Nike Air DT Max 96 to drop at select Swoosh Brand shops and Nike.com in Summer 2024, as shown in the images below. Retail is set for $170.
