South Korea has made a lot of headlines recently in pop culture this year for the new hit Netflix Series “Squid Games,” and now Nike is set to release an Air Force 1 low celebrating their upcoming holiday! Official images surface of the brand new Nike Air Force 1 Hangeul Day dedicated to celebrating the country’s alphabet that was founded in the year 1443! Every year on October 9th South Koreans celebrate the invention of their alphabet, and Nike pays homage with two colorways representing their holiday. This pair is the men’s release introduced in predominately black uppers with the tongue and heel tabs, sock liner, and outsole appearing in white. The most eye-catching detail is that the sneaker has nylon side panels and a toe box consisting of Korean consonants and vowels embossed all over that read Nike’s famous quotes such as “Just Do it” and “Nike.” The nation’s vibrant hues are also displayed throughout the sneaker, most visibly on the Nike branding and stitching on each swoosh and midsole. Be on the lookout for the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Hangeul Day” scheduled to release exclusively at Nike Korea on October 9th! Stay up to date with Daily Sole if some pairs get released in the United States as well!
