Fans of the upcoming film starring Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, which is planned for release on July 21, will be glad to know that Nike Sportswear has just prepared a new Nike Dunk Low inspired by the film.
There may not be an official collaboration between Nike and Barbie, but the congruence of their efforts is attractive. The Nike Dunk Low features a premium suede base with star patterns on the lateral panels and pink leather on the toe, eyestay, and heels for a feminine touch. Shiny dark brown accents on the Swooshes and heels give these sneakers a luxurious look. An extravagantly staggering lace piece in the shape of the letter “N,” embellished with imitation diamond rhinestones, adds to its allure. The shoes’ tongues include star designs, while other details include a sail-inspired midsole and a translucent pink outsole covered in tiny white stars.
Expect the Nike Dunk Low Barbie to drop at select Swoosh shops and Nike.com in the coming weeks, as shown in the images below. It will retail for $125.
