The Nike dunk low has been the most talked about and requested sneaker, and Nike manages to keep the silhouette in the spotlight by adding creative colorways we never see coming! Nike Sportswear releases official images of the Nike Dunk Low Sunset. As you can tell by the crimson and orange color blocking, this sneaker celebrates this upcoming Winter Solstice. Winter Solstice occurs when Earth’s poles reach their maximum tilt on either side away from the sun, and this happens twice a year but only once in each hemisphere. There are usually festivals and celebrations circulating the day, and of course, Nike has to remind their audience in the most fashionable way possible. The sneakers appear in orange and crimson bliss overlays- pink side panels, toe box, laces, vertically pinstriped tongue- and lastly, red sock liner and orange outsole. What makes the sneaker more unique is the visible trails of the embroidered suns beaming throughout the sneaker, reminiscing as if you stared directly into the sunlight. Lastly, the Nike branding includes the 21st on the tongue tab and insole, nodding that this coming Winter Solstice is taking place on December 21st.
