Nike SB continues its hot streak by releasing the first looks of an upcoming Dunk Low inspired by a famous cartoon character from one of America’s most popular television shows! The first look of the Nike SB Dunk Low Bart Simpson is scheduled to release in spring/summer 2022. Inspired by Bart’s signature outfit he wore throughout the show, the pair delivers a Habanero Red, White, and Blue Hero color scheme. The pair is introduced in a tumbled leather yellow base with a puffy mesh tongue- Habanero red suede overlays and laces- and blue hero hits seen in the sock liner and rubber outsole. More details include white hits arriving on the tumbled leather Nike swooshes and midsole alongside a lime green insole discretely shown in one of the pictures possibly inspired by Bart Simpson’s signature green skateboard. The concept and structure of this sneaker were executed well because the pair is indeed detectable a mile away but at the same time not as overdone or whacky as the shoe could have been like some of the past cartoon-inspired concepts previously done. No official release date has been announced yet, but you can expect the Nike SB Dunk Low “Bart Simpson” to arrive on Nike.com and your local trusted skate shop this coming spring/summer season!
