The original Jordan Hybrid will come back in 2022, only two years after its previous appearance. A second colorway of the Jordan Dub Zero has surfaced online through Nike.com in “University Blue.”

Another contemporaneous Jordan Dub Zero “University Blue” version joins the previously-previewed OG, which switches out the original Fire Red for a more recognizable Carolina Blue. In addition to the black patent leather overlaid on top of the white leather base, there will be a return of the gold laser etching on the shroud. For the 2022 vintage run of the model, it seems that the braided rear panel has been replaced with solid smooth leather.

The original “Varsity Red” Jordan Dub Zero debuted in 2005 and is coming back in 2022. As far as crossovers go, the classic silhouette is one of the most revered. So, sneaker enthusiasts across are rejoicing.

Using design elements from Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 6, Air Jordan 11, Air Jordan 12, Air Jordan 13, Air Jordan 15, and Air Jordan 20, the Jordan Dub Zero was the first retro mix-up. Two years after its return in 2020 to mark its 15th anniversary, Nike has re-released the shoe in its original hue, but with leather rear panels instead of the woven ones used in its predecessor.
